Add structure within one location

With Parking Sections, multiple zones can be created within one Park-R location. Think of different levels of a multi-storey car park, separate sites or parking areas for specific users.

Each section can have its own access rights and vehicle limits. That way you decide which users may use a particular parking area, while everything is managed centrally from the same Park-R environment.

Direct users to the right parking zone

Not every user needs to be able to park everywhere. An employee of company A can, for example, get access to a different section than an employee of company B.

Parking Sections make it possible to set up these differences clearly within one location. Reservations can also be linked to specific sections, so parking rights match the right parking zone.

One location stays centrally manageable, even when different parking arrangements apply within it.

Linking sections to companies

Own space, own rules

You can link a section to a company and place it under a parent section, for example a level with separate bays below it. Each section has its own capacity, its own access groups and its own limit on the number of vehicles per user.

Occupancy that is correct per zone

With an extra camera at the passage to a section, Park-R registers when a vehicle changes zone. Without that camera, a vehicle is assigned the section of the camera where it entered, or the company's main section. For a reliable count per zone, place a camera at every passage.

Open and closed per zone

Time schedules per section

A section can be open or closed according to the time schedules of the access groups. When a section is closed, Park-R refuses access and you can link an automation to it. With the standard event mode you temporarily open up one zone.

Does every location already have a section?

Yes, every location has a main section. With the Parking Sections module you create additional sections.

Do I need an extra camera per section?

For a reliable count per zone, place a camera at every passage to a section. Without that camera, a vehicle is assigned the section of the camera where it entered, or the company's main section.

Can reservations be linked to a section?

Yes. For each company you set which sections reservations apply to by default.
