Connect Park-R with external systems

Parking management does not always stand on its own. Reservations may already be in a booking system, for example, and you may also want to show current occupancy on a display or in your own app.

With Park-R API Access you connect other software to Park-R. That way you do not enter reservations twice, and you show occupancy in other places.

Create reservations from your own system

From booking to access

An external system can create, change and delete reservations, with licence plate, period and optional recurrence. Park-R applies the company's reservation rules, such as the maximum per day and the maximum duration.

A valid reservation gives the vehicle access as soon as the camera recognises the licence plate. The guest therefore does not need to be registered separately for parking.

Connection with Tommy Booking

Licence plates from a stay, processed automatically

For holiday parks and chalet parks there is a connection with Tommy Booking. A confirmed booking with a licence plate automatically becomes a reservation for the length of the stay.

Using a different booking system? Then we first look at what the system offers and which data needs to be exchanged.

Retrieving live occupancy

For displays, websites and apps

Through the API you retrieve current occupancy: available, occupied and total, for the location, per company and per section. Want the data pushed to you as soon as it changes? Then we enable a live websocket for your location. Your application connects to our server and you do not need to host anything yourself.

Live occupancy requires Parking Count.

Not every integration is the same

The API is intended for reservations and occupancy. Users are imported with a CSV file. A connection with an external system is not available as standard. That is why we first look at the system, the available options and which information needs to be exchanged between both systems.

That makes it clear in advance what is possible and what is needed to build the integration.
